The “Switch” is as popular as ever, but you know Nintendo is a company that will not rest on its laurels. ┬áThe video game giant has just unveiled its latest gaming accessory, a project they are calling “Nintendo Labo.”

Essentially, the Labo is a series of sets of cardboard cutouts marketed as “a new line of interactive build-and-play experiences designed to inspire kids and those who are kids-at-heart.” Kids can fold and manipulate these cardboard cutouts and fold them into various toys and objects, like a 13-key piano or a fishing rod.

You pair with the Labo with a Switch console, opening it to a seemingly endless possibility of combinations of interactive fun.

Of course, this kind of innovation like cardboard will not be inexpensive.  The Switch console alone will run you about $300, and upon its relase, the Labo will retail for $69.99 for the Variety Kit, and $79.99 for the Robot Kit.

The product was designed to encourage the imaginations of kids, which is who it’s intended for.

The Nintendo Labo will be available in stores April 20!
