If you have some loose change dangling around in your pocket, congratulations! You have enough cash to buy a house in Italy!
Just off the coast of Italy, in the Mediterranean isle of Sardinia, the village of Ollolai is offering empty houses for $1.25!
Now if this sounds too good to be true, there is a tiny little caveat. The houses available for purchase must be refurbished within the first three years after purchase, according to an agreement for the buyer. Estimates have the current cost of repairs at $25,000.
Ollolai has seen its population dwindle over the past half decade, and is trying to encourage people to turn their broken village into a picturesque Italian town. The offer is only available through February 7th, so act fast!
